This is a part-time remote position.
Teach middle and high school students the critical Reading and Writing skills needed to achieve SAT/ACT scores worthy of Top-50 college attention.
Required:
bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university
experience tutoring or teaching English to high school or middle school students
proficiency with online teaching/learning platforms
native or near-native English language proficiency (speaking, reading, listening, and writing)
ability to pass a background check
Preferred:
US state teaching certification
SAT Reading/Writing score above 700 or an ACT English score above 33
multilingualism (Spanish, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, preferred, but any additional language is welcomed)
Additional Requirements:
fast internet connection
appropriately quiet and professional space in which to conduct lessons
ability to follow a curriculum and meet deadlines
Two demonstration lessons will be required and a probationary period will apply.

In addition to basics (ASMD) and standard algebra and geometry, strong proficiencies in AP Precalculus, AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC, and AP Statistics are also required.
